February 25, 1968 Born in Yao City, Osaka Prefecture, Japan
April 1986 He joined the “”Inada Buddhist Altar Factory”” run by his father. He studied under his father, Toshio Inada, a traditional craftsman designated by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
He began to learn traditional Japanese lacquering and gold leaf techniques.
1989 I studied under Nobuyuki Arishiba, a roiro craftsman representing Osaka. I started learning the technique of roiro mirror finishing.
February 25, 2007 Certified as a traditional craftsman designated by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan.
April 1, 2008 Independently opened Yao Urushi Kougei (Yao lacquer crafts) in Yao City, Osaka Prefecture, Japan.
May 1, 2008 Established a Buddhist altar manufacturing workshop in Hirano-ku, Osaka.
June 2011 The work of urushi lacquering on shrines and temples has increased significantly. The main business was shifted from Buddhist altar manufacturing to urushi lacquer for shrines and temples, so the workshop in Hirano-ku, Osaka was closed.
August 2011 Appointed as a director of the Osaka Religious Equipment Commerce and Industry Cooperative.
2015 Moved office and workshop to current location
February 2016 Received the Osaka Prefecture Craft Achievement Award
